Fiesta

The beach at St Kilda, down South in Victoria, isn't very nice. I didn't have any concept of how nice the beaches we have here in Sydney are, until I went there. How can something so natural, have so many variables of niceness? What makes something as simple as sand and water 'nice', or 'not nice'? I don't really know, but I know it really isn't as simple as just that, and I probably never will understand it. But that's okay.
Anyway, down by St Kilda beach, a festival was held and conveniently we were in Melbourne at the time (my first time!), so got to take part in it.
I also felt a little bit ruthless- being in a city that isn't your own gives you confidence to do things you usually wouldn't- like walk directly up to people and take a photo, in their face, of their face. And cross the road not at the lights. The logic behind it lacks, but it is the truth, in my circumstance anyway. A tourist in a town a short flight away, that's what I was. Imagine the crazy things that could happen if I went overseas? I am not sure if that was supposed to be sarcastic or not. We will go with not.
On another note, I have listened to this song 38 times today so far. It is very good.
And on another, other note, I got a new camera. So taking photos will be occurring a whole heap more than before.
