Lillejulafton

Sometimes, you write so much, then read back to yourself what you just wrote, and then you backspace it all because you feel like it had no purpose and was a waste of words. This happened to me just then. And I feel like it should happen to this paragraph too, but I will stop the cycle right now before it gets out of hand.

Here are some of my first few images through my new GA645 medium format film camera that 2 incredible friends of mine gave me for Christmas, all taken on Christmas Eve. I am super excited for the year ahead to see what kind of images this little guy can produce.

Massive giant thunderstorm clouds flying into the Central Coast.

My sister, Emma, in some prickly plants.

My brother and sister across the road from my Grandparents' home.

Last (last) year, I wrote a little bit about the people we share Swedish Christmas with every year. But this year (last year now..), those families-who-aren't-actually-related were all overseas. So instead, it was just my immediate family and my grandparents, which was strange. We didn't even have any real Swedish Christmas music to play- so my Grandmother played her favourite instead... Michael Bublé's Christmas album. Can't say we were all particularly stoked about that. But that's okay, I have the best Swedish Christmas album ever recorded playing right now to make up for it.
Christmas music is THE best kind.
